The Types Of Hair Transplant Surgery With The Quickest Recovery Post Surgery
For most men suffering with Hair Loss and opting for Hair Transplant Surgery they have lots of question about the procedure, what is involved in the surgery and how long before they can return to a state of normality in terms of work and family commitments.

Recovery from Hair Transplant Surgery does depend on a few factors, firstly the size of the procedure you have undertaken (ie Graft Number) and the type of Surgery such as FUT or FUE have bearing on recovery.

FUT - this method is a day case procedure performed under local anaesthetic which causes a thin linear strip scar at the back of the head.In most cases you will feel normaly after around 3-4 days post surgery and able to return to work 10-14 days post surgery. Sutures may require removal at arounf 14 days post surgery.

FUE - this method again is a day case procedure performed under local anaesthtic but is slighly less invasive than FUT. The donor region is shaved at the back and follicular units extracted one by one. Patients will feel fine around 2-3 days post surgery and can again return to work around 10-14 days post surgery.

All Hair Transplant patients should refrain from any heavy lifting and going to the gym for at least 1 months post surgery.

At around 3-4 month post surgery you will start to see the new hair follicles initial growth, this will thicken and mature over time with a final result between 12-18 months post surgery.

If your looking into Hair Transplant Surgery and not sure what option is best for you call Elite Hair Restoration to arrange a free no obligation consultation at one of our regional clinics to find out your most suitable treatment plan.
