Dr. Zakar Rafiq graduated from Imperial College University with his medical degree and is highly skilled in hair restoration surgery working within this industry for over 5 years and having performed thousands of surgeries to date.
He has a multifaceted approach to FUE hair transplant surgery by way of the Follicular Unit Extraction technique as well as non-surgical methods including platelet-rich plasma therapies.
Dr. Rafiq has a special interest in non-multiple methods of hair restoration, he attributes his success as a hair transplant surgeon to his passion for delivering optimal results and outstanding patient care.
One of Dr. Rafiq's key interests is Hairline Restoration using the FUE method, Dr. Rafiq also has specialist interests in eyebrow hair restoration, eyelash transplantation, plastic surgery-related hair loss, and trichotillomania.
Dr. Zakar Rafiq is also a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS).
Previously he has also been a ringside Doctor in the Amateur British Boxing Board of Control & volunteered as a St Johns Ambulance Doctor and is a Medico-Legal Medical Expert.
He completed his MBBS and BSc (Hons) at Imperial College London (14th in World League Standing), and Surgical Training completed at the prestigious Surgical Academic Unit in St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. Completed other surgical specialties including, General, Colorectal, Breast and Endocrine, Trauma and Orthopaedics, and Neurosurgery.
Dr. Rafiq is also an Associate Member of the ISHRS.
